Wedding Guest

How sad is this . . . the first wedding I have been to as a 'guest' in about 2 years . . . and I still found myself clutching the camera. Just can't stop shooting!!!

4th July at the Lake

So we ended up at the in-law's cottage, on a very cute little Lake/Pond in Michigan for the 4th of July celebrations. Being English, I find very little to celebrate this time of year . . . but I do grin and bear it!! I keep threatening to wrap myself in an English flag as part of the parade!! Once I was asked by a local 'Michiganer' if we celebrate the 4th in England!! Wasn't quite sure how to respond to that :) So anyway, here are some snaps of the cousins, in-laws etc. Enjoy!

The Cutest!!

OK . . . so maybe I am a little biased. She is pretty adorable though. Her Highness, Lydia Claire Whiteley is now 14 months old. Growing more quickly than the grey hairs in whats left of my hair; its actually like having a teenager in the house. She kicks and screams when she doesn't ger her way, she throws her food all over the floor (still) and she giggles constantly at the oddest things. Love it! She is exploring walking which is hilarious in itself. Its like watching myself stumble out of the pub after about 15 pints of Guinness. Soon she will be learning to drive!

Running for Office next year??

Karyn & Oscar's engagement session

So this amazing couple, Karyn and Oscar hired me to shoot their wedding at Glen Manor in Portsmouth. What an amazing location and what a super cool wedding!! The Venezuelans really know how to throw a party! I will post some of the wedding pics soon. Anyhow, a few weeks before the wedding we did some engagement pictures at 2nd beach in Newport and in the historic part of Warren in the East Bay. They wanted the prints to put in their guest sign-in book for the wedding day. We had a few beers, some fried clams and scallops at this new waterfront cafe near Blount Seafood (worth checking out). . . and shot some really fun images. Check them out!!

Life is a Beach!!

What a cool way to spend a Sunday afternoon!! Just some fun on the beach with 2 great models; Adria and Gabriel. Thanks guys. Enjoyed very much and thanks for putting up with the cold. I tried to airbrush the goosebumps out :) Also big thanks to Olivia (blinkofaneyephoto.com) for assisting. Hope I can return the favor one day.
